Gloria Krolak has created a unique poetry/photo book unlike any other.  Her verses are stories told using jazz tune titles around a central theme.  "My Little Brown Book," for example, a tune written by Billy Strayhorn,  reads alphabetically from Aisha to Wendy,  as if it were that little black book, since replaced by cell phones.   With so much music written for women, it's no surprise that it's one of the longest poems in Jazz Lines.
